RIYADH: King Salman recently sent a message to the prime minister of Mauritius, Pravind Jugnauth, relating to bilateral relations and ways of further strengthening cooperation between the two nations.
The monarch’s message was delivered by Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Kattan, an adviser at the Royal Court, during his visit to the Mauritian capital Port Louis, on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Kattan passed on the best wishes of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the PM, his government, and the people of the East African country.
Returning the greetings, Jugnauth said Mauritius supported Saudi Arabia’s bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh, and he thanked the Kingdom for staging the first Saudi African and fifth Arab African summits to be held in Riyadh this year.
As well as looking at ways to develop relations in various fields, Kattan and Jugnauth also discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern.
